Cathleen Crudden named editor in chief of ACS Catalysis Queens’s University professor aims to highlight and include underrepresented groups in the journal by Linda Wang It is with great pleasure that we welcome Professor Cathleen Crudden as the next Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of ACS Catalysis. Cathy will be the second Editor-in-Chief after the initial 10 year appointment of one of us, Chris Jones, as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EIC). Cathy has been an associate editor for ACS Catalysis since 2016, and she has served on several journal Editorial Advisory Boards (e.g., Organometallics, ACS Central Science, Chemical and Engineering News). 2020-08-13 · Professor Jones is the inaugural editor-in-chief of ACS Catalysis and led it to be the field’s top journal, with a 12.390 Journal Impact Factor™ in 2019. As Professor Jones begins his work with JACS Au, Professor T. Brent Gunnoe is serving as ACS Catalysis‘ interim editor-in-chief. In May of this year, Dr. Vojislav Stamenkovic of Argonne National Laboratory joined the ACS Catalysis editorial team. Dr. Stamenkovic brings specific expertise in the design and synthesis of materials for electrochemical applications, specifically focusing on electrolyzers, batteries, and PEM fuel cells.
